We have following requirement.
We are looking for candidates for Support Engineer position.
Position Name: Support Engineer
Linux certified (preferred), up to 1 year experience in L1 support or both.
Able to work in shifts 24/7.
Participate in systems support based on an on-call rotation model ensuring availability.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Able to communicate effectively internally and with clients overseas
Knowledge of ITIL Processes
Linux/Windows Operations & Service Desk request handling
General IT Administrative tasks: Create, change and delete accounts, groups, projects, repositories, etc.
Linux/Windows Patching tasks, Server Setups/Rundowns (VMs & PSs)
Backup verification, Software Compliance and Antivirus status checks & Incident management
Infrastructure Health Monitoring (VCenter-Sphere), Escalate Non-Standard Service Requests
Inventory management CMDB using GLPI tool.
Knowledge &/or Hands on Active Directory, JIRA & Confluence, ANSIBLE is required
Event Management, Log Management (Review logs and create incidents) & Design website security policy
Create service level agreement (SLA) and Service Desk (SD) reports.
Writing Knowledge Base entries as and when expected & Platform Documentation
Knowledge of Cloud Operations & Processes is a big Plus
Basic Knowledge of various Monitoring/Deployment/Virtualization tools is required
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel
1. Passports: Required(at least applied)
2. Fresher’s with Linux certifications (L1 support) are also preferred.
Candidates from Western line are preferred, Central line can be considered(Dadar, Ghatkopar, Kurla, Vikroli)
